Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is a harem isekai anime based on a light novel series written by Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by Shirotaka.
Originally the work was published as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro in November 2012. Later it received a print release by Media Factory.
The light novel was also adapted into a manga published by Media Factory in Monthly Comic Flapper in May 2014.

What Is Mushoku Tensei Season 2 About?
In Season 1’s finale episode, Eris parted ways with Rudeus as she went on to train and become stronger. She wanted to become more powerful and protect Rudeus.
Meanwhile, Rudeus was in a terrible and depressed state, but after dreaming about Zenith, he remembered his duty.
In Mushoku Tensei Season 2, Rudeus sets out to find Zenith and this quest will lead him to the city of Rosenburg.
The second season of Mushoku Tensei will also showcase Rudeus taking on A-rank missions alone.
He wants to spread the word about his powers but it may have serious consequences for him and his dear ones.
The episode count of the new season is not yet announced, but it is likely that Mushoku Tensei Season 2 may have 24-25 episodes.
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Release Date
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 started airing on Sunday, July 2, 2023. The first episode of the second season introduced a character named Fitz.
The theme songs of Season 2 have also been announced. The opening theme song is titled spiral and is performed by LONGMAN.
Meanwhile, the ending theme song of Mushoku Tensei Season 2 is called Musubime by Yuiko Ohara.
