Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are returning for another collaboration in the comedy action movie, Murder Mystery 2! It is included on the roster of Netflix for this year as one of the projects to wait for.
They will be back as Nick and Audrey Spitz, picking up where the first movie left off and they will be on a whole new adventure now that they are finally full-time detectives with a ton of luck and laughter within. Murder Mystery 2 Release Date: When Will the Sequel Come Out?
Netflix released a save-the-date video for the titles that are arriving on the streaming platform this year and that includes Murder Mystery 2 which will be coming out on March 31, 2023, marking the return of the iconic rom-com duo in their new adventure.
Murder Mystery 2 is first announced in October 2019 and during the September 2021 TUDUM Global Event, Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler confirmed that they will be reprising their roles from the first film. Other cast members are announced in January 2022.

An ensemble cast banners Murder Mystery 2! It has Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston reprise their roles as Nick and Audrey Spitz in a new mystery four years after the very first one that they solved together.
Sandler and Aniston have an undeniable chemistry that started from Just Go With It and from there, Murder Mystery followed. With a success, they are now getting the sequel with Murder Mystery 2 as Nick and Audrey Spitz.
Jennifer Aniston recently took to Instagram her gratitude to the fans while promoting Murder Mystery 2 at the same time. The actress posted a clip of her and Sandler while in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.
Joining them are Mark Strong who will play a SAS mercenary, Mélanie Laurent, Jodie Turner-Smith, Enrique Arce, Tony Goldwyn, Annie Mumolo, Wilmer Valderrama, Zurin Villanueva, Kuhoo Verma, Adeel Akhtar as Maharajah, and John Kani as Col. Ulenga.

Murder Mystery 2 Crew: Who are the Creative Minds Behind the Scenes?
Murder Mystery 2 is directed by Jeremy Garelick, and written by James Vanderbilt, with the cinematography helmed by Bojan Bazelli. The producers are Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, James Vanderbilt, Allen Covert, Tripp Vinson, and James D. Stern.
Murder Mystery 2 is a collaboration with Happy Madison Productions, Echo Films, Mythology Entertainment, Vinson Films, and Endgame Entertainment which will be distributed internationally by Netflix.
The principal photography of Murder Mystery 2 took place in January 2022 in Hawaii, and they wrapped up in Paris in April 2022. In January 2023, the release date of the sequel has been confirmed.

The official synopsis of Murder Mystery 2 is as follows:
"Four years after solving their first murder mystery, Nick and Audrey Spitz (Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston) are now full-time detectives struggling to get their private eye agency off the ground when they’re invited to celebrate the wedding of their friend the Maharaja (Adeel Akhtar) on his private island. But trouble follows the Spitzes again when the groom is kidnapped for ransom soon after the festivities begin — making each glamorous guest, family member, and the bride herself a suspect.
Murder Myster 2 sends Nick and Audrey Spitz on a high-stakes case that finally gives them everything they’ve ever dreamed of: a shot at their detective agency finally becoming successful…and their long-awaited trip to Paris. The film is directed by Jeremy Garelick and also stars Mark Strong, Mélanie Laurent, Jodie Turner-Smith, Kuhoo Verma, with John Kani, and Dany Boon."
From the synopsis itself, it is apparent that there will be a time jump of four years from the first Murder Mystery movie and now, Nick and Audrey Spitz are with their very own detective agency which is just starting to rise to the occasion.
They will be attending the wedding of their friend but there is a fiasco waiting to happen and being detectives, they will be heading the investigation of the groom being kidnapped and those close to him are all suspects.
More than that, SAS members are involved, too, and they would be holding another high-stakes case which could be the key to their agency being successful and their much-awaited trip to Paris, but it is for a case, though.
The hype is on and the Spitz couple are back for more adventures as they take on this case! With some sheer amount of luck, some digging, and a whole lot of hilarious stuff, Murder Mystery 2 is one film to look out for!

Yes! There is! Netflix released the official trailer for Murder Mystery 2 which teases a whole lot of action, comedy, and drama with some touch of romance, too, but everything is centered on the new mystery that Nick and Audrey Spitz would be facing now that they are full-time detectives.
The trailer teases the main plot of the sequel where Nick and Audrey Spitz attend a wedding and the groom is revealed to be kidnapped. Now, with the suspects being those close to the groom, the couple must solve the case which takes them to the attention of the SAS.
There are also scenes from Paris, a much-awaited trip of the couple, but they will be getting there for a case, not for leisure. Also, it shows just how much luck the couple has when dealing with the baddies which will surely be hilarious!
