Ms. Marvel Star Iman Vellani Has the Most Adorable Reaction to the Series Trailer Release

The MCU gets a new member of the ever-expanding universe and Marvel Studios drops the video of Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani as she watches the trailer for her very own series and she has the most genuine and adorable reaction to seeing her craft finally coming into realization as her debut as Kamala Khan nears.

Marvel Studios shared a video of MCU newcomer Iman Vellani as she watches the trailer release of her upcoming series, Ms. Marvel, and her genuineness just radiates throughout. Wearing a gauntlet in one hand, Vellani played the trailer and she smiles all throughout the clip. At one point, she even said she looks like a child when she really is one, laughing at herself afterward.

Vellani also shed a few tears of happiness as the trailer moves past the part of Kamala realizing that she has been spending too much time in fantasyland. As the teaser said, “do you know what you are,” Vellani happily described Kamala as a “superhero,” blurting the same words as her character did afterwards, then she exclaimed, “yeah, you are.”

The clip ended with Vellani saying, “It’s a real thing now, officially, to share it to the world.”

Ms. Marvel is the next series to drop after the release of Moon Knight and having Kamala Khan in the MCU proves that the franchise is really holding onto their promise of diversification and representation having a 16-year-old Muslim Pakistani-American heroine from New Jersey. Her presence in the MCU widens the scope of the heroes in age, in religion, and in ethnicity.
