Ms. Marvel Star Admits Disappointment on [SPOILER] Death in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness serves as an extensive understanding of how the Multiverse concept will pave the way for the future of the franchise. Aside from the multiversal leaps of Benedict Cumberbatch's titular hero, the sequel also highlighted Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff as she fully descends to her comic book counterpart, the Scarlet Witch.

In one sequence of the film, Wanda infiltrates the Illuminati facility to look for Xochitl Gomez's America Chavez to absorb her power and use it to reunite with her children. The founding members of the Illuminati include Captain Carter, Black Bolt, Monica Rambeau's Captain Marvel Variant, Reed Richards, and Professor X attempted to stop Wanda, but she brutally slaughtered them one by one.

The Illuminati's tragic death faced a negative reaction from the fans, questioning how the Earth 838's mightiest heroes were annihilated just like that. Among fans who were unhappy about the Illuminati's tragic death was no other than Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani.

During an interview about her upcoming Disney+ series, the MCU newcomer was asked about her thoughts on the Doctor Strange sequel in which Vellani particularly expressed her disappointment about Black Bolt's cruel death.

In a recent interview with Elite Daily, Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani opened up about the recent MCU milestone, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Vellani specifically opened up about one of the founding members of the Illuminati's tragic death, saying that Marvel 'did Black Bolt dirty.'

“I have so many opinions, which I don’t think we have time for… here’s my TL;DR. I love Sam Raimi… [but] I don’t care what anyone says. [Black Bolt’s] my guy. I think they did him dirty. I did not appreciate that [death],” Vellani said.

Well, fans undoubtedly agree with what Vellani spoke. The momentum that comes along with the Illuminati's rumored inclusion in the Doctor Strange sequel was soaring prior to the film's arrival, and how Wanda brutally slaughtered them one by one easily when the film premiered was surely disappointing. They are the Earth 838’s strongest heroes after all, and fans certainly expected a more fair fight.

Hopefully, Multiverse of Madness won't be Black Bolt's appearance. Considering the Inhuman superhero's immense power, he must redeem himself after being totally humiliated by the Scarlet Witch.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is still showing in theaters worldwide and will premiere on Disney+ on June 22, while Episode 1 of Ms. Marvel is now available on Disney+.
