Time travel is not a new concept in the MCU and it has proven to be a useful thing especially in Endgame where the heroes saved half of the universe. Now, in Ms. Marvel Episode 4, in the end, as soon as the blade of Najma and the bangle of Kamala meets, the latter was thrown into somewhere, somewhen – in 1947. Ms. Marvel Episode 4 Ending Explained: Did Kamala Just Travel In Time?

In Ms. Marvel Episode 4, Seeing Red, Kamala finally learns about her roots first-hand as Sana tells her more about her powers and for them to understand the visions together. It turns out Sana was the last one to use the bangle during the Partition to find her way back to her father and it gave her a trail of stars to follow.

Kamala meets the Red Dagger and she gets training with them, Waleed and Kareem, who taught her more about the Noor Dimension and what will happen if Najma and the Clandestines will get ahold of the bangle: the Noor dimension will swallow the current dimension the heroes are in and that’s definitely not a good thing.

The Veil is what is keeping the dimensions away from each other and piercing it would be chaos, like how piercing the veil in a corporation spells trouble.

The Clandestines broke out of prison and they followed Kamala to Karachi where they pursued her. Waleed gave up his life to save Kamala and Kareem and on their last stand, Najma was about to stab Kamala, Kamala defended herself by raising her bangle and as soon as the blade met the bangle, Kamala went flying into a void where she ended up at a train station.

Yes, Kamala just traveled back in time and she ended up in 1947, during the Partition, where the last train to Karachi was about to head out.

Here’s the thing on how Kamala got there: remember when Waleed told her that “what you seek is seeking you,” as an inscription on the bangle, well, it may be what just happened. Kamala has been seeking answers all around asking about Aisha but she never got a direct answer, it could be that when Najma’s blade and Kamala’s bangle met, Aisha got the chance to send Kamala back in time.

How did Najma’s blade do that if you may ask? Well, her blade is unusual, right? It could be her weapon from the Noor dimension and the bangle, being the key, the meeting of the two has a force so powerful that it opens a void through time and space, giving Aisha a chance to pull Kamala back in time and fulfill the inscriptions on the bangle,” what you seek is seeking you.”

That night in 1947 was the last time Aisha was seen, never to be heard again, so it could make sense if that fateful night is when Kamala would land. She has been sought by Aisha personally. Guess everyone would have to find out what happens next in the penultimate episode next week!

Ms. Marvel Episode 4 is now streaming on Disney Plus.
