Kamala Khan's arrival in the MCU definitely shook things up especially with the jaw-dropping cliffhanger in the finale about her true nature of possibly being the first ever mutant in the franchise. The cinematographer of Ms. Marvel, Jules O'Loughlin, teases the possibility of a Season 2.
The series cemented its place as the highest-rated project of Marvel Studios of all time, even defeating Black Panther, in that feat. Yes, Ms. Marvel did that. Other than being a breath of fresh air in the MCU, Ms. Marvel bested all other MCU projects.
Given Ms. Marvel's amazing feat, Ms. Marvel Season 2 remains a question for most, even with Jules O'Loughlin, cinematographer of the series, hadn't heard anything from the studio about it as he shared with ComicBook.com in an interview.
O'Loughlin said, "Listen, hand on heart, I can honestly say that at this stage, I haven't heard of any plans for a Season 2. There's so much going on with Marvel and there's stuff happening and popping up all the time, but I haven't heard of anything, Sharmeen hasn't heard of anything."
O'Loughlin added what's next for Kamala Khan after Ms. Marvel, "The next thing for Iman, and the character of Kamala is to be in The Marvels. But at this stage, there hasn't been any talk of a season two on Ms. Marvel."
