Moon Knight: Ethan Hawke Speaks Up on Possibility of Season 2

In a chat with IGN, Ethan Hawke, who plays the villain of the story, Dr. Arthur Harrow, speaks up as he talked about returning for his role in the future, and no, what he meant was not just limited on a second season for Moon Knight but he talked about it as his he knew his character has a future built around him in the MCU.

Ethan Hawke hints on reprising his role for projects other than a second season of Moon Knight, "The good news is that it's possibly both. It lives and breathes on its own merits, it functions as a limited series -- and if people are engaged and excited by it then it could be the origin story of a larger thing."

Many Marvel fans are looking forward to these series releases to have a second season that when Loki confirmed that it will be having one, a lot rejoiced considering that other shows are limited such as WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Surely, What If..? could go on in its own right with a Season 2 as it takes on an anthology type of storytelling but if Moon Knight is bound for a Season 2, it would probably be on the same page as Loki.

These limited series of Marvel patches up the gaps that the movies could not reconcile or sets up a character for its future in the franchise. WandaVision gives Wanda Maximoff her birth as the Scarlet Witch as she finally embraced her powers, making her grow as a hero while she deals with the pain of losing Vision. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier set up the new Captain America with Sam Wilson. Hawkeye passed the baton to a new archer in town.

For series with continuity, Loki has set up a huge potential in filling in the gaps in the movies for the explanations on the different variants in the multiverse. If Moon Knight is to share the same fate and have a second season, it would most likely be on the exploration of the character and his connection to the wide range of Marvel’s mythos.

Oscar Isaac plays Moon Knight and he would be joined by Ethan Hawke as Arthur Harrow, May Calamawy as Layla, Loic Mabanza as Bushman, the late Gaspar Ulliel as Anton Mogart, Lucy Thackeray as Donna, and F. Murray Abraham as Khonshu.

Moon Knight arrives on Disney Plus at 3 AM EST on March 30, 2022 where there would be six episodes to be released weekly. There is no news yet as to the release of the series on DVD but what is sure is that it would be available on the service in the highest streaming quality, 4K. It is rated TV-14 which means those who are aged 14 years or above can watch the show; however, they must be accompanied by an adult.
