A lot of twists and turns happened in Moon Knight Episode 4 that blew everyone’s mind right off the bat as it is the most confusing one to release in the show. Much to the surprise of everyone, as Marc/ Steven found the ushabti of Ammit, Harrow’s arrival cast a shadow on him really hard. Is the titular hero dead after being shot at and plummeting into the waters behind Alexander the Great’s sarcophagus?
Moon Knight Episode 4: Is Marc/ Steven Dead?
In Moon Knight Episode 4, Harrow and his people arrive with their big guns after Marc/ Steven found the ushabti of Ammit in the body of Alexander the Great who turns out to be the last avatar of Ammit, the voice of the goddess before being completely locked up in stone by the other gods. However, this time, without the suit, Marc was left with his own defenses when he had to face Harrow’s army.
Though he was able to put up, it is Harrow himself who shot Marc, twice, on the chest. He falls into the waters behind the sarcophagus of Alexander the Great. Harrow said he cannot save anyone who does not want to be saved at all.
This left everyone’s jaw dropping but what makes it more confusing is that we are taken into a mental institution afterwards with all the other characters from the previous episodes as either patients or workers in the facility and Harrow seems to be the head psychiatrist of the place.

Marc meets Steven in the mental institution, coming out of a sarcophagus and both of them remember being shot by Harrow. As they try to escape, they came across another sarcophagus with someone violent inside, possibly Jake Lockley. Before they reach the exit, they encounter a hippopotamus dressed in an Egyptian style.
Whether Marc/ Steven is already dead, the titular character, more often than not, wouldn’t die in the middle of a show so that, in itself, is an indicator that he is still alive or would be brought back to life. Taweret, the Egyptian hippopotamus goddess they saw, is a known protector and ally of Khonshu’s ally, Hathor. It is possible that she would play a huge role in reviving Marc/ Steven.
For now, let’s presume he’s dead but he will definitely be kicking back to life.
Moon Knight Episode 4 is now streaming on Disney Plus where it would be available on the service in the highest streaming quality, 4K. Episode 5 arrives at 3 AM EST on April 27, 2022.
