MONSTA X Comeback 2021: K-Pop Group Confirms Much-Anticipated Return With New Korean Album


MONSTA X is gearing up for a Korean comeback with a new album coming sometime at the end of November 2021.

The group’s agency, Starship Entertainment, confirmed the news of the Korean comeback which is expected to be released before MONSTA X flies to the US for the Jingle Ball Tour.

Global fans of the boy band grew excited as soon as the news circulated. In particular, the six-member group has recently presented MONBEBE (MONSTA X fandom name) the English single One Day which was released on September 10, 2021.

On October 18, Starship Entertainment unveiled that MONSTA X has been preparing for its new Korean album with the aim of releasing it in November. According to the agency, the powerhouse group will return with new music that will prove each member’s maturity and growth as a worldwide artist.

Earlier 2021, MONSTA X has released its 9th mini-album One Of A Kind which consists of 7 tracks. The album includes the title track “GAMBLER” which was written by the group’s main rapper Joohoney.

Moreover, MONSTA X will join the many splendid acts coming back in the fall with a new Korean album. Such artists include IU, who has just released her digital single “Strawberry Moon” and CNBLUE with the 9th mini-album WANTED.

SEVENTEEN will also release its 9th mini-album Attacca on October 22. In addition, 2AM will reunite with the 4th mini-album Ballad 21 F/W on November 1.


MONSTA X Proves Its Impeccable Global Presence

Earlier, MONSTA X has had everyone in awe of their spectacular stages for the 9th mini-album One Of A Kind. The group actively built its career as a powerhouse group while breaking its own records.

In specific, MONSTA X received a platinum badge in the Gaon Album Category as well as had all songs from the album at the top of the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart.

Joohoney also showcased his incredible talent in producing and composition with his first title track since his debut with the group in 2015.

Not only this but members Hyungwon and I.M’s self-written tracks also performed well on various domestic and overseas charts. This amazing achievement gained the maknae line the nickname “3 Producing Idols.”

Also, the US single “One Day” entered the Billboard Pop AirPlay chart at No.38. This is the third time for the group after “Who Do U Love?” and “You Can’t Hold My Heart” which was both from the sixth studio album and 1st-ever English album of the group All About Luv.

Huge attention is already focused on what kind of music will MONSTA X present with the new album before gracing the largest US year-end show Jingle Ball Tour. The tour is organized by radio station iHeartRadio and is expected to commence in December.

Specifically, MONSTA X is invited to perform in 4 cities. Five members will fly to the US and perform for fans in Philadelphia on December 13, Washington D.C. on December 14, Atlanta on December 16, and Miami on December 19.

Fans should note that the group’s leader Shownu will not be able to attend the show as he is currently serving his mandatory military enlistment as a social worker.
