MONSTA X Confirms Highly-Anticipated 2022 Comeback, Says New Album Will Come Soon!

MONSTA X will give all their love to MONBEBE through a new project.

While Shownu is spending his time in the military, the remaining MONSTA X members are doing their best to give their fans the best performances and projects in the past months.

In November, they released their EP, No Limit, which was their first release without their leader. They also dropped their second English-language album, The Dreaming, and released a concert film titled MONSTA X: The Dreaming.

Before ending their 2021, they became part of iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball Tour before performing in a number of states in the US, including Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Atlanta.

For this year, MONSTA X confirmed that they are also gearing up to give MONBEBE the first and best 2022 album.

MONSTA X To Make a Comeback!

Sports DongA first revealed the news on Wednesday, saying that MONSTA X would make a comeback in April. The K-pop boy group’s agency, Starship Entertainment, also dropped a statement in response to the report.

“Our agency’s artist MONSTA X is preparing for an album with the goal of making a comeback this upcoming April. The detailed schedule will be revealed later on. Please show lots of interest and love,” the agency said.

It remains unknown what the members contributed to the new album this time, but most of them have been actively sharing their talents to create their projects.

Joohoney famously produced GAMBLER and Rush Hour, while Hyungwon also produced and wrote BEBE and Mercy.

MONSTA X Has Busy Days Ahead!

Before the news about their comeback emerged, KCON revealed that MONSTA X would headline the upcoming Global K-pop festival in Seoul.

On Wednesday, KCON shared a video and introduced its lineup of performers in the upcoming event. Aside from MONSTA X, TO1, Highlight, and The Boyz are confirmed to appear at the CJ ENM Center on May 7 and 8.

STAYC and NMIXX will join other soloists and girl groups for the first time, including Hyolyn, Brave Girls, VIVIZ, WJSN, LOONA, and Kep1er.
