MOMOLAND announced its disbandment nearly seven years after its debut.

MLD Entertainment launched the originally seven-member girl group following the reality show, Finding Momoland in 2016. Nancy, JooE, Ahin, Nayun, Jane, Hyebin, and Yeonwoo marked their debut through the mini album, Welcome to Momoland.

The group became a nine-member group upon Daisy and Taeha's arrival in 2019. However, it lost Taeha, Yeonwoo, and Daisy a few years later.

This year, the remaining six members all decided not to renew their contracts with MLD Entertainment. A few weeks later, they announced heartbreaking news.
