Demon Slayer is once again the biggest topic of discussion among anime fans online following the Season 3 premiere. Though aside from discussions, there are also lots of Demon Slayer cosplay that are trending now, especially ones of Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira.

The first episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc was over 40 minutes long, and while the highlight for many was the impressive Infinity Castle sequence, fans were also delighted to see Mitsuri in a long-awaited scene.

While Mitsuri already appeared in the first season, she only appeared for a short time.

After Mugen Train and the Entertainment District saw Rengoku and Tengen play big roles, it is now Mitsuri’s turn.

The first episode did not feature much in the way of action involving Mitsuri, but it did feature a heavy dose of fanservice in the form of Mitsuri’s hot spring scene.

As it featured her wearing nothing and with only her hair covering her private parts, it’s no surprise that it got a lot of attention online.

Aside from this fanservice though, Mitsuri also showed how filled with love she is (as befits the Love Hashira) as she adorably played with the tiny Nezuko. This is despite her being a Hashira and Nezuko being a demon.

For now, Mitsuri is set to leave the Swordsmith Village, but she will play a big role in the events of the third season moving forward.

To celebrate the new season’s premiere, PeachMilky shared her cosplay shoot of Mitsuri on Twitter, and it got thousands of likes and even more views.

Much praise was given to how well she pulled off Mitsuri’s look. Though what’s also striking about the photos is the beautiful cherry blossoms in the background, which gave the shoot a stronger Japanese vibe.

With Mitsuri set to play an important role in the events going forward, we’ll likely see even more cosplays and fanart of her in the coming weeks and months.

Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc will continue with Episode 2 next week.
