tvN has just revealed a new Kdrama series ready to captivate global viewers’ attention. Melancholia Plot And Storyline
Melancholia follows the story of Ji Yoon Soo, which will be portrayed by Im Soo Jung, a mathematics teacher at a private high school that happens to be a hotbed of corruption, and Baek Seung Yoo, played by Lee Do Hyun, a troublesome student who appears to be a math prodigy.
Despite the relationship as a teacher and student, Ji Yoon Soo and Baek Seung Yoo fight together to overcome social conventions while the former helps the student to rise to the top of the class.

The main preview trailer released by tvN for the imminent series Melancholia heralds the special meeting between math teacher Ji Yoon Soo and math genius Baek Seung Yoo.

Unlike other students who are focused in class, Baek Seung Yoo has little interest in studying, which caught his teacher’s attention. And just when Ji Yoon Soo approaches Baek Seung Yoo to ask him about his interest in mathematics, the latter crouches his back against the world.
On the other hand, Baek Seung Yoo’s mother slaps Ji Yoon Soo with anger as the situation is sucked into an unexpected whirlpool.
Moreover, Baek Seung Yoo seems to have found motivation. When Ji Yoon Soo was handed over to the police, he rushed in and said, "I’ll prove it," which further increased the curiosity as to what would happen between these two people who got involved in a heartbreaking encounter.
