Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly have big plans for 2022.
Other than the Duke of Sussex’s memoir, the former royal couple will also be releasing projects with Netflix and Spotify. It’s been months since Prince Harry and Markle signed multi-year deals for both companies, but they have not released that many projects until today.
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Have Big Projects Lined Up This Year
Us Weekly, in its Jan. 10 issue, claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are excited to see what 2022 has in store for them.
After learning that Prince Harry will be releasing a memoir, Markle allegedly started contemplating writing her own book. However, an unnamed source claimed that the Duchess of Sussex will decide whether to push through with the plan or not after the release of her husband’s memoir.
“She’s waiting to gauge the reaction to Harry’s memoir first,” the unnamed source said.
Speaking of Prince Harry’s memoir, the unnamed source claimed that it will be filled with bombshells that will surely rock the royal family.
“The book will be controversial, with a lot of bombshells about royal life and mistreatment,” the unnamed source said.
Netflix, Spotify Projects In The Works For Prince Harry, Meghan Markle
As for the couple’s Spotify and Netflix partnerships, they will also, allegedly, release multiple projects this year.
“Their Spotify channel will release some podcasts. There will also be two new Netflix documentary series. One about Harry’s work following athletes to compete in the Invictus Games and another one about the couple’s humanitarian work. This will give the public a real look into their lives for the first time since they left the UK,” the unnamed source concluded.
Meghan Markle Wants To Release A Memoir Before Prince Harry
This isn’t the first time that Markle is rumored to be releasing a memoir.
Last month, Heat UK claimed that the Duchess of Sussex is competing with Prince Harry when it comes to the release of her book. However, the Duke of Sussex doesn’t allegedly mind because he’s very supportive toward his wife.
“The 40-year-old is planning to correct false stories and serve as a credible version of events. And she might even release it before Prince Harry drops his first book in 2022. Either way, it means that we’ve got a busy year of Sussex-themed book club meetings ahead,” the unnamed source at the time.
The unnamed source added that Markle’s memoir is already a go. And the only thing she needs to decide on is the date when she wants it to be released.
“The thinking is that Meghan can release her own memoir several months earlier because she’s a quick writer and will take a different tone to Harry. She’s well aware of other biographies and documentaries being made about her and wants to control the narrative. It’s a question of when not if – and she won’t be afraid to ruffle a few feathers in the royal family with it,” the unnamed source claimed.
However, Markle has not announced any plans to release a memoir. The Suits alum just released a children’s book titled, The Bench and it became a bestseller. But even if this is the case, it’s unlikely for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to compete with each other.

Royal Editor Thinks Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Have Surprises In Store For Fans
This week, royal editor Russell Myers weighed in on Prince Harry and Markle’s plans for the year. He said that anything can happen for the couple so it’s possible for new Netflix and Spotify projects to be unveiled.
“Anything can happen with those two, to be honest. They pop up every now and then and the world laps it up. They have had a bit of a stop-start couple of years since they decided to leave the Royal Family. But hopefully, Spotify and Netflix will be getting their money's worth. They haven't seen too much bang for their buck at the moment. Let's wait and see what happens,” Myers said via Express.
