Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have always been united when it comes to their goals and principles. When they quit their royal duties three years ago, they did it to protect their privacy and their family. When the couple decided to appear in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, they decided to do so to try and clear their name.
As such, it wouldn’t be unfair to assume that Meghan Markle supported Prince Harry with his decision to write a memoir. In fact, rumors were rife that the Duchess of Sussex was the one who encouraged her husband to work on Spare, but these claims have not been proven to be accurate.
Meghan Markle Allegedly Humiliated By Prince Harry’s Memoir Spare
But according to New Idea, the release of Spare caused problems in Prince Harry and Markle’s marriage. And the latter has not been seen in public since the memoir’s release because she is in hiding due to the humiliation Spare the memoir brought upon her.
“Meghan thought that Spare would be their crowning glory and finally the public would understand why they fled England to start over. There’s a reason we haven’t seen her since the book came out. She’s humiliated. She expected Harry’s book to get everyone onside after all their struggles, and instead her husband – and therefore her – has become a laughing stock,” the source said.

Meghan Markle Allegedly Didn’t Understand Why Prince Harry Included Private Stories About Their Relationship In Spare
The source added that Markle was incensed by the fact that Prince Harry shared some very private information about their relationship. For instance, the Duchess of Sussex allegedly didn’t like how her husband detailed their first date in Soho, among many other things.
“She’s worried it makes her sound crazy. She can’t believe Harry went that far. They have been fighting about it,” the source said.
Due to the tensions in their household, the source alleged that Prince Harry has been trying to stay away from his wife. This is allegedly the reason why some neighbors have been seeing him in the area sans Markle.
“He’s been doing that a lot lately – leaving the house alone to get some air. It’s like he’s trying to keep out of her hair or she’s instructed him to get out of her sight. You can’t blame her for feeling upset. They’ve been reduced to the butt of jokes,” the source said.
Meghan Markle Fully Supported Prince Harry’s Memoir
According to The Telegraph, Markle was hesitant about Spare being released because she feared that she would be accused of getting herself too involved or of trying to steal the limelight. But once Prince Harry decided to get on with his book, his wife supported him fully.
“Is this the way she would have approached things? Possibly not. But she will always back him and would never have got involved in promoting such a personal project. This was about his own life, his journey, and his own perspective,” the source said.
