Meghan Markle Will Testify Against Prince Andrew
Globe, in its Jan. 17 issue, claimed that Meghan Markle may have just found the perfect opportunity to make headlines across the world once again. After all, she just agreed to testify against Prince Andrew.
An unnamed source claimed that Markle didn’t second guess her decision to testify against the Duke of York when Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s lawyers reached out to her. After all, she never really liked Prince Andrew.
Prince Andrew, Queen Elizabeth Worried About What Meghan Markle Could Say
The Duke of York is, allegedly, aware that Markle could testify against him, and he couldn’t be more worried.
“There is very real concern Andrew will try to discredit Meghan by using her own lies against her,” the unnamed source said.
Even Queen Elizabeth is, allegedly, worried about what the Duchess of Sussex could say under oath.
“Queen Elizabeth is sick with worry over this shocking development. She fears Meghan could use the witness stand to settle her grievances with the royal family or damning testimony about Andrew would destroy her favorite son and the monarchy,” the unnamed source claimed.
Meghan Markle Thinks She’s The Queen Of Hollywood
However, Markle couldn’t allegedly care about what the royal family thinks about her appearing in a deposition.
“The last thing Andrew needs is Meghan talking to his accuser’s legal team. She’s already proved to be a loose cannon. Deposing Meghan in this high-profile case just plays into the former actress’s publicity-obsessed hands. She sees herself as Queen of Hollywood and there’s no bigger stage than taking a starring role in the production that is Prince Andrew’s sex scandal. Andrew and the queen thought this lawsuit would simply go away – but it refuses to die. It’s becoming a three-ring circus and the fear is Meghan will star as a ringmaster,” the unnamed source concluded.
Meghan Markle Has Not Been Asked To Testify Against Prince Andrew
However, the publication’s claims are inaccurate. Giuffre’s attorney, David Boies said that he might consider deposing Markle. But this hasn’t happened, and it’s also unlikely for Markle to accept the invitation.
“She was a close associate of Prince Andrew for a period of time. She may have important knowledge. She is also in the US so we have jurisdiction over her. And she is someone we can count on, to tell the truth,” Boies told the Daily Beast.

Other Members Of The Royal Family Could Be Deposed
At the time, Boies also said that other members of the royal family could also be deposed.
“We would likely take one or two depositions of people close to Andrew who would have knowledge of his actions. That might include his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. It could possibly be his brother,” he said via People.
However, Queen Elizabeth won’t be called to testify against her son due to her age and as a sign of respect for the monarch.
