Meghan Markle Gives Prince Harry A Special Shoutout During Her One Young World Summit Speech
"I am thrilled that my husband is able to join me here this time, to be able to see and witness firsthand my respect for this incredible organization and all that it provides, as well as accomplishes. One Young World has been an integral part of my life for so many years before I met him, so to meet again here on U.K. soil with him by my side, makes it all feel full circle," Meghan Markle said (via Hollywood Life).

Meghan Markle Reminded The 200 Delegates That Their Time Is Now While At The Summit
The Duchess of Sussex also reminded the attendees that they are the ones driving positive and necessary changes in the world right now. After all, they are the present and the future.
"We often hear people say 'The time is now,' but I'm going to double down on that, by saying your time is now. The important work can't wait for tomorrow," she added.
Meghan Markle Criticized Over Her One Young World Summit Speech
The Suits alum received cheers and applause throughout her speech. And the crowd also became more excited when she gave Prince Harry a shoutout. The cameras panned toward the Duke of Sussex, who was also all smiles while listening to his wife.
However, despite the warm reception that Markle received, her critics still did not shy away from making their feelings known.
According to Newsweek, Markle received a standing ovation inside the venue for the One Young World summit. But the minute she stepped out of the auditorium, she was welcomed by boos from the crowd.
Royal expert Ingrid Seward also claimed that she did not understand a single word that came out of Markle's mouth.
"I can't visualize or comprehend how the 2,000 young people understood a word of what she was talking about. It made no sense. It was all about her and related everything to herself. I don't think she knew what she was talking about. It was just 'me, me, me' and praising herself," she said.
A royal fan who waited for Markle and Prince Harry outside the venue also called the Duchess of Sussex a social climber.
"She's a social climber… she thought she could be a celebrity in the royal family, and she's the most toxic, divisive woman I've ever heard of in my life," the woman said.
Despite the criticisms, Markle and Prince Harry will continue with their journey overseas. On Tuesday, Sept. 6, they will head to Germany for the Invictus Games.
