Production for TV shows and movies has been shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, leaving these projects to be indefinitely delayed. However, it looks like a Marvel Disney+ series managed to finish filming amid the crisis.

According to scooper Liz Hill (via Murphy's Multiverse), the WandaVision series has reportedly wrapped up filming and the visual FX are finished as well. The outlet says what's left is the editing of course, and possibly some reshoots.

WandaVision was set to be released after The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. However, the latter series still has weeks of filming left. WandaVision has a December 2020 target release date, and since the show is said to tie in with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which is now set to arrive in March 2022, there is a possibility for the show to move further down again.

That being said, with WandaVision reportedly in its editing stage, this is certainly exciting news for fans who have been eagerly waiting for the show. Plot details about the show are quite scarce, but the footage released in the Super Bowl trailer suggests a sitcom-like series. There are also speculations that the show could set up elements for Young Avengers.

WandaVision is currently set for release in December 2020 on Disney+.
