During the Super Bowl, Marvel Studios finally pulled the trigger and released official footage of their three Disney+ shows: Falcon and Winter Soldier, WandaVision, and Loki. While we only got 30 seconds of overall footage, there was still enough to dissect and analyze over, which should be a fun few weeks for hardcore MCU fans. Unfortunately, no release dates were given, though we do know that WandaVision and Falcon and Winter Soldier are slated to come out this year.
Falcon and Winter Soldier probably have the most footage, showing Sam Wilson practicing with the Shield Steve Rogers gave him. The footage also indicates that Sam is much better friends with James "Bucky" Barnes this time around since they were both still angry at each other back in Captain America: Civil War. No masked Baron Zemo yet but we do see him fighting Bucky, along with a brief shot of US Agent.
The WandaVision portion is vaguer but does show us some sitcom-style footage, as we were promised. However, we also get our first look at Wanda in her Scarlet Witch gear, which is going to make a lot of people very happy. Also, seeing The Vision in a comfy little sweater is fun and amusing on so many levels.
As for Loki, well, not much is shown there. We see Thor's brother in a prison but claiming that he'll burn the place to the ground. Considering how he has the Tesseract now, one has to wonder how he even ended up in jail. Maybe he's just playing around with us mere humans? We'll have to wait and see.
WandaVision and Falcon and Winter Soldier will be coming to Disney+ this year. Loki will be coming out next year.
