There is a big hubbub being created over Disney's newest revelation regarding the upcoming Marvel Universe Phase 4 movie Eternals. Recently, news was released that Marvel's Eternals will have two storylines: one is set in the present, while the other is set in the past.
So, how does this storyline work? Will the Eternals be divided? Here's what we know so far about Marvel's Eternals 2 storylines.
Marvel's Eternals Updated Storyline And What It Means
Disney revealed, not too long ago, that the Eternals will have two storylines --- one is in the present day, the other in the past. It may sound a little confusing, but basically, the movie will show us the Eternals when they were working as a unit in the past and the now-disbanded group of heroes in the present time.
"The story takes place across two time periods. One storyline is set in the past when they operated as a formidable team and a close family unit. The second storyline is in the present, when the group has fractured and split apart, content to live among humans, hiding in plain sight. The prevailing threat of the Deviants, which once again threatens the existence of mankind, means the Eternals need to put their differences aside and regroup," the updated synopsis of Eternals revealed.
This means that we will have a look back at the time when the Eternals fought side-by-side with one another. Then, the slow falling out of the group up to the present time where they are no longer a unit.
Obviously, they will end up banding once again to fight the newest threat on Earth, and also their evil counterparts -- The Deviants.
