Marvel Studios: Assembled – The Making Of Moon Knight Gets Delayed, New Release Date Revealed

Marvel Studios: Assembled series releases special documentary episodes for every Marvel project that comes out in the open. All the shows and movies that have arrived since WandaVision, except Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, have one where the behind-the-scenes and commentaries of the people who worked on the project are aired.

The usual schedule of Marvel Studios: Assembled is a week after the finale of the series, like that of WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, however, for the Making of Moon Knight, the special documentary series has been delayed for two weeks and instead of coming out on May 11, 2022, it would be released on May 25, two days before the release of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Various reasons are considered in the delay of the special series, one of which is the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which needs more time on the limelight before any other thing comes out for the franchise. This could also ensure that Marvel’s Assembled would not be sidelined.

Another possible reason is the rumors coming out that Moon Knight will be announcing that the series would have a second season. While this is yet to be confirmed, a lot of fans are leaning into this idea since the show ended with the cliffhanger of Jake Lockley and Khonshu still working together after the Egyptian god of the moon released Marc Spector and Steven Grant.

The cause that is most reasonable, though, is that Disney Plus is spreading out its new contents and releasing it in a way that would be beneficial for the streaming service. There is no Disney Plus original show coming out on May 25 so it would make sense to put Marvel’s Assembled: The Making of Moon Knight on the said date.

Let’s all see how they pulled it all off with the Egyptian myths and intense scenes in the series on Marvel Studios: Assembled – The Making Of Moon Knight on May 25, 2022, exclusively on Disney Plus.
