It's been three years for Marvel Puzzle Quest, and developer D3 Go! and Demiurge celebrating this with a handful of events, balances, and a new character coming in.
Over at Marvel, D3 Go! Producer Josh Austin and Demiurge's Associate Producer to deliver some good news on the new additions to the game. There have already been a number of big events in the game, among which include the Boss events, the additional characters, and the Ranks and Clearance Levels.
But for the third anniversary, Marvel Puzzle Quest will see both some additions, a new event, and an Anniversary sale.
For starters, there will be some character changes, such as in Devil Dino, who will become stronger to celebrate the third year. The Anniversary Sale is also coming in hot as there will be 4 Star characters, Legendary Tokens, Hero Points and lso-8 rewards.
Then there's the new event, which is called the Boss Rush. While it's fashioned after the other Boss events, it will have its own new twist to commemorate the event. It will feature a new wave mission with a different boss and the ability of players to compete against their Alliance mates for more rewards.
Perhaps the biggest would be the release of Gwenpool, who was previously hinted as a secret character in one of the loading screens. She'll be coming in to Marvel Puzzle Quest on Oct. 6.
"We worked really hard to make sure the rewards and activities make players at any roster level happy. We are delighted that so many people have been playing for three years now and that they enjoy playing as much as we continue making this amazing game."
The Marvel Puzzle Quest anniversary kicks off on Oct. 6 with a PVE event, followed by the first PVP event later that same day. It will also be marked by the debut of the new Versus Mode dubbed Best Friends.
