Marvel Fans Celebrate Supposed 99th Birthday of the Legendary Stan Lee

Imagine what would Marvel be without Spider-Man, Iron Man, X-Men, Thor, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Black Panther, Hulk, Fantastic Four, Scarlet Witch, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Daredevil, and the Fantastic Four? All these characters are co-created by the Legendary Stan Lee and today is his supposed 99th birthday. Fans of the franchise celebrate his life and his contributions to society today.

Born on December 28, 1922, today would have been the 99th birthday of the one and only Stan Lee. He introduced extremely important characters in Marvel and he is always appearing in the MCU films as a cameo, one which is much awaited. This carried on until his death, after which, the shows and movies inserts a callback on the legendary creator.

The names mentioned above couldn’t be possible without Stan Lee in collaboration with Steve Ditko and Jack Kirby. Lee has contributed so much to the industry that he even challenged the restrictions posed by the Comics Code Authority and made way for change. Even after his retirement, he continued to support Marvel in their endeavors.

Over the years, Lee has given comics a new name and a new start. The golden age of the comics was the time of Lee’s life. Lee died in 2018 but fans never forgot his contributions to society as he gets appreciated more and more.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Lee had worn many faces over the years in his various cameo appearances. It is a great find to realize that a cameo is Stan Lee and it became an MCU tradition to look for him in the movies.

More than the career of Lee, he inspired many as he has proven that age doesn’t matter when it comes to reaching your dreams. He was in his late thirties when he almost quit, but he didn’t and see how much he achieved.
