Stan Lee will forever be synonymous with the Marvel Universe and it can't be denied that he left us with such an incredible gift which a lot of us will be enjoying for more years to come. Today marks what would've been the comic book legend's 98th birthday and although things haven't been the same since his passing two years ago, we continue to celebrate his contributions to the world of entertainment, not just comic books.

The folks over at Marvel posted a heartfelt and emotional tribute to the late great Stan Lee. A video uploaded on Marvel's official website chronicles Lee's colorful career and how he changed the face of comic books forever. The description reads: "98 years ago today in New York City, a legend was born. Stan "The Man" Lee, born Stanley Lieber, was introduced to the world and later became the architect of the Marvel Universe, a world outside our window and a driving force in popular culture. Working with some of the best artists in the business, Stan Lee would create the larger-than-life characters in the pages of Marvel Comics.

Characters and stories that have stood the test of time and continue to dazzle and amaze fans around the world. From fantastic families to amazing spiders to uncanny outcasts and even earth's mightiest, Stan Lee's vision lives on. Happy birthday, Stan, and thank you." Check out the video here:

Whether you're a diehard comic book fan or just a casual follower of the films via the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I'm pretty sure Stan was able to touch your life one way or another. It sucks that he can no longer be with us anymore but hey, I'm 100% positive that Stan the Man himself was beyond satisfied with his accomplishments. The least we could do now is to keep the industry he built alive. You are missed every single day, Stan Lee!

That said, the MCU's Phase 4 will kick off with WandaVision, hitting Disney+ on January 15, 2021.
