Following the triumphant conclusion of the Infinity Saga in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the franchise is currently building up its next big saga as teased by Kevin Feige and with Phase 4 about to end, brace yourselves for what is in store!
The Infinity Saga recently ended in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after more than a decade of films starting from Iron Man up to Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Now, there is a whole new track for the beloved franchise as the multiverse enters the picture and opens doors to tons of possibilities.
With Loki and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness introducing how chaotic the multiverse is, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is in it for a wilder ride as Kevin Feige, in an interview with Total Film, teases the next big saga: the Secret Wars Saga rumored to be the focus of Phase 5.
Feige didn’t name the saga but he knows that with where things are going, the fans have picked up the clues already, “As we're nearing the end of Phase 4, I think people will start to see where this next saga is going. I think there have been many clues already, that are at least apparent to me, of where this whole saga is going."
The Secret Wars Saga is from the comic book crossover in 2015 where there are two things threatening the very existence of the universes: a multiversal war and the incursions that are introduced in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Both of these are already in the MCU and more hints point to the Secret Wars coming into the franchise.

The biggest giveaway that the Secret Wars Saga is coming is in Loki with the introduction of Jonathan Majors’ He Who Remains who explained that his other variants are not like him, pertaining to the timelord Kang the Conqueror set to appear in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.
