Mark Ruffalo has been a mainstay in the MCU for a long time now thanks to his wonderful performance as Dr. Bruce Banner/The Hulk in various films and TV shows. However, he still doesn't have a solo project yet since Universal Pictures still has the rights to the character's standalone movie.
There have been rumors for the past several months that a Hulk solo movie might finally happen, especially in the aftermath of the recent Hulu deal between Disney and NBCUniversal.
So far, Marvel Studios has not commented on the rumors or announced any plans for The Hulk to finally have his own project, but fans have been hoping for it since Ruffalo took over the role in The Avengers.

Mark Ruffalo Addresses the Hulk Solo Movie Rumor
Speaking with ComicBook.com, Ruffalo was asked about the rumors surrounding the long-awaited Hulk solo movie in the aftermath of the Disney and NBCUniversal deal.
However, the actor didn't give a definitive answer since Marvel Studios is not allowing him to comment although he expressed his hope that it will happen in the future.
"Not that I know of. I've been asked not to comment on it, that specifically. Hopefully, one day though they'll work it out. I think it could be really cool and I've been putting a lot into what it could be to be cool, but I don't know yet," he said.
It's not surprising that Ruffalo didn't directly respond to the question since Marvel Studios is known for their secrecy and he has been in trouble before for accidentally revealing spoilers in the past.
We don't know yet what is the actual situation right now with the rights to a Hulk solo movie although the rights to 2008's The Incredible Hulk have reverted to Marvel Studios this year which was seen as a sign that it could finally happen very soon.
There are also no updates yet surrounding Ruffalo's next MCU appearance following the finale of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, but for now, we can expect him to continuously show up as a supporting character in various projects while the rights are still not settled.
