Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Marvel fans have seen the fate of their favorite heroes. Some unfortunately died while others will be heading to either a series or a movie sequel. For Hulk, there wasn't any assurance if he'd return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it looks like there's a good possibility.

Speaking at the C2E2 panel in Chicago (via ComicBook.com), Mark Ruffalo confirmed that he has had "preliminary talks" for him to appear in the She-Hulk series. This is definitely a surprise since the actor admitted in a previous interview that he didn't know whether his character would make a return since Endgame is supposed to be "the end" after all.

If Ruffalo's Bruce Banner would appear in She-Hulk, it is possible that the studio would adapt Jennifer Walter's comic-accurate origin story into the show. A rumor about the plotline got around last month which suggested that Walters could be getting her powers by getting a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner. Given that the actor has had talks with the studio about an appearance, it is possible that the show would be using this version of She-Hulk's origin story.

The Hulk is an integral part of She-Hulk's creation in general so it would be much more surprising if he wasn't actually in the show. That being said, the focus is on Jennifer Walters so Ruffalo could just be making a cameo. On that note, Marvel is yet to announce or reveal any cast members, including the lead role.
