Star Wars fans are still reeling over Disney's decision to drastically change the name of Boba Fett's Slave I ship and just when you thought that's the end of it, rumors are swirling all over the internet about Lucasfilm's alleged plans to do more changes to the legendary bounty hunter and we could see it transpire in the upcoming spinoff show The Book of Boba Fett.

According to a new scoop from Star Wars News Net, Boba Fett is set more a major appearance change in the series with the character getting an "upgraded" armor. Very little is known about the said update on Fett's overall look but the report claims that Temuera Morrison will be wearing a completely different armor from what we saw in The Mandalorian Season 2.

The website also claims that the series will revolve around Fett seeking revenge against the people who have done him wrong over the years. Considering Luke Skywalker is one of them, it's safe to assume that Fett will return to his villainous roots. Of course, nothing has been officially confirmed yet so take this one with a huge grain of salt.

Whatever Lucasfilm plans on doing, I certainly hope it's for the better because they wouldn't want to get on the bad side of fans yet again. As it stands, the series is still shrouded by mystery but all uncertainties aside, I have a huge feeling that The Book of Boba Fett will actually acknowledge Slave I's new name and officially make it canon. Of course, we're not quite sure how fans will react to it but to be honest, "Firespray" is a pretty decent name. Sure, it would take a lot of getting used to considering Slave I has been used since the '80s but by default, the new name is actually better than the iconic vehicle being referred to as Boba Fett's Starship.

The Book of Boba Fett hits Disney+ this December.
