During the panel of Star Wars: The Bad Batch in this year's Star Wars Celebration, it has been confirmed by the executive producers of the series, Brad Rau, Jennifer Corbett, and Athena Portillo, that the series is getting renewed for Season 3!

However, the news comes with quite a sad twist as Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 is said to be the final season that will conclude the story of the Bad Batch and Omega during the time of the early days of the Galactic Empire.

Releasing in 2024, the producers teased the return of the various major characters for Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 with the Bad Batch, Omega, Palpatine, Dr. Royce Hemlock, Rex, and Fennec Shand. The description of Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 is also shared on StarWars.com.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 is expected to pick-up its pace from the events of the two-part finale of Season 2 where revelations were as shocking as ever! The finale brought back Tarkin and involved a classic villain from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

There is also the death of one of the members of the Clone Force 99 which broke everyone's hearts because they lost the heart of the team. Omega was captured, as well, by the Empire where she is held in the location where Crosshair is -- Mount Tantiss.

Other than that, Omega found out that she is not alone as Emerie Karr reveals herself to Omega as her sister who was also cloned from Jango Fett.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 is set for a release window on 2024.
