Lovelyz member Seo Ji Soo recently vented out her feelings through a voice-only broadcast on V Live. Her initial statements caused fans to ask about the group's status over a year since it dropped their lead single Obliviate.

During the broadcast, Seo Ji Soo revealed that the members had already approached their company, Woollim Entertainment, for a potential comeback. However, they never get a response from them at all, causing members to feel frustrated.

The K-pop idol apologized following her statement and reflected on the potential effects of her words.

Seo Ji Soo Says Sorry Over Comments On Lovelyz's Comeback

On Wednesday, Seo Ji Soo took her concerns to Pocketdols and said sorry to their fans. She noted how her broadcast led to misunderstanding, although she only wanted to answer the question about Lovelyz's album release.

According to the member, she initially felt upset when she saw a comment about the members not working hard to release a new album.

"I'm sure Linus was curious, but we can only say the same thing every time. Anyway, I don't want things to get bigger, and I don't want other members to talk about it because of me. I shouldn't have done V Live yesterday. I should've just slept when I had a headache. I'm sorry," she said, as translated by AllKpop.

It remains unknown whether their managers or Woollim Entertainment took action over her recent statement. But Lovelyz's fans immediately released their disappointments online and trended Lovelyz Deserves Better.

Lovelyz Deserves Better Trend Launches Appeal Against Woollim Entertainment

Lovelyz and their fans only have one month left before the members' contract expires. Thus, they do everything to extend their stay in the agency or continue making music somewhere else.

On Twitter, the members of Lovelyz's fandom posted massive appeals under the Lovelyz Deserves Better trend. Most of them suggested transferring the whole group to a different company to save the members' potential.

One fan even mentioned what Kei envisioned for the group, saying she wanted Lovelyz to score their first music show win. However, even after the broadcast has been aired, the agency seemingly plans to continue putting the group on forced hiatus.

If the members choose not to renew the contract, then the possible win would highly unlikely happen. With the Lovelyz Deserves Better trend, fans hope that something about the girl group can be done.
