There is little doubt that people are already excited about Loki Season 2 although we have yet to learn anything about what will happen in the series. However, new details about the show's storyline have been revealed through the new merchandise connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe series.
The new information comes from promotional art for Loki Season 2 merchandise which was shared by CoveredGeekly. For instance, Owen Wilson's Mobius is shown wearing a spacesuit which could mean that ... Mobius is headed for outer space?
We're loving the idea of Moebius as an astronaut and the promo art seems to confirm he will be reuniting with Loki in the second season. Moreover, they are joined by Hunter B-15, Casey, and Key Huy Quan's mysterious character.
Although it isn't confirmed, it looks like these characters will make up a team who will go up against TVA, which is revealed to be getting even stricter. “THE TVA NEEDS TO CHANGE AND IT HAS TO START NOW,” the banner reads.
So what did we learn about Loki Season 2? The second season could introduce Loki working with TVA agents who are ready to turn their back on the agency. However, the fight isn't going to be an easy one as it is confirmed that the battle is more than just the struggle against TVA.
Loki Season 2 will bring back Tom Hiddleston as the God of Mischief. He will reunite with Owen Wilson, Eugene Cordero, Wunmi Mosako, and Tara Strong.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw is also expected to return as Judge Ravenna. It is still unclear whether Sophia Di Martino will reprise her role as Sylvie and there hasn't been any announcement on whether Jonathan Majors will make another appearance as He Who Remains, the Kang Variant that appeared in the first season finale.
Loki Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date but is set to premiere on Disney+ in 2023.
