Loki: Eugene Cordero Confirmed to Return in Season 2

MCU fans have been gloriously looking forward to the second season of Loki ever since the renewal was confirmed during the end of the first season finale. Fortunately, the main cast is set to return in the next season although there are fans who are wondering if that also includes Eugene Cordero, who plays Casey. Now, we have the answer from the actor himself.

Speaking with Screen Rant, Cordero confirmed that he is returning in the second season of Loki. While he didn't reveal any details about what his character will do in the next season, he did share his excitement about getting to reprise the role again and explore what he will do next in the MCU.

"Yes, yes, you can [look forward to more Casey]. You know, I can't [tease anything], because I don't even know," Cordero said. "There's so many passwords and passcodes that I have to fill out just to even look at the pages that I'm on, and the way that it works is things constantly change in a great way."

He continued, "There's so many moving parts in that universe that things keep changing, so I can't really nail it down, but I'm excited. I'm excited to do more and I don't know to what capacity I'll be able to be a part of it, but I'm excited to do it. So yeah, get ready, it'll be fun, I hope? No, it will be, it'll be great. [Chuckles]"

During the first season, Cordero played TVA receptionist Casey, who appeared in the first two episodes. He showed up in the season finale again when he became Hunter K-5E after the death of He Who Remains which ended up unleashing the multiverse with alternate timelines.

While he didn't reveal which of the two characters he will play in the next season, it is still exciting to know that he will return and see his interactions with Loki again, which were the highlights in the first two episodes as it gave birth to the famous "What's a fish?" meme that took over the internet after it aired. Let's just wait and see what they have in store for the God of Mischief's next journey in the MCU.
