People are still dealing with the Loki Season 1 finale but Sophia Di Martino is already looking towards the future. The Loki actress has just teased what will happen to Sylvie after what happened in Episode 6.

WATCH OUT! SPOILERS AHEAD, PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

In Loki Episode 6, it was ultimately revealed that the TVA was created by He Who Remains aka Kang the Conqueror. He tells Loki and Sylvie that he enforced a singular timeline after ending a multiversal war caused by his own Variants.

While they are in the Citadel at the End of the Time, the timeline suddenly begins to branch out. This is when Kang offers Loki and Sylvie a choice: kill him and end the singular timeline, causing another multiversal war, or replace him as his successors in overseeing the TVA. Sylvie chooses the former but first, she sends Loki back to the TVA headquarters.

It's a shocking decision and one that could ultimately affect Phase 4 of the MCU. Not surprisingly, Di Martino admits that Sylvie is sad after realizing what she has done and confirmed that this will be her character's mindset in Loki Season 2.

"What she does with [that sadness] is yet to be seen. It's an interesting place to start another chapter," Di Martino told Marvel.com.

It certainly sounds like Loki Season 2 will continue following Sylvie's story. With that in mind, we can't wait to see what happens next to the Variant in the next season.

All episodes of Loki Season 1 are now streaming on Disney+. Loki Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
