Loki Season 2: Ke Huy Quan’s Major Role May Secure His MCU Future

Loki Season 2 and Secret Invasion are the only two MCU shows releasing this year due to Disney+ cutting down on their budget, as well as Marvel Phase 5 in gradually releasing their content. One of the most highly anticipated MCU debuts in Loki Season 2 is Everything Everywhere All At Once star Ke Huy Quan, whose role has finally been revealed!

The iconic Indiana Jones star was previously phoned by Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige himself in wanting to add the actor into the Marvel ensemble and now, it looks like we have a pretty good idea on what Quan’s role is. According to reputable scooper @MyTimeToShine, Ke Huy Quan is going to be playing TVA’s main tech guy named Ouroboros in Loki Season 2, check out the tweet below:

Although we have yet to get an official confirmation from Marvel Studios and Feige, this sets up a potential speculation of Ke Huy Quan’s role being much more impactful than it appears to be.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: John Krasinski Is Reportedly NOT MCU’s Reed Richards

The name Ouroboros has two meanings: a snake or an emblem of wholeness/infinity. In this case, seeing that Ke Huy Quan’s character is conveniently working for the TVA, there’s a huge chance his character will likely turn out to be on Kang the Conqueror’s side or against all odds of Loki and Mobius’ plan against the TVA altogether.

In the Marvel comic books, Ouroboros was mentioned in an issue of She-Hulk, in which his name is Mister Ouroboros alongside another Mobius variant named Mister Paradox. In this case, we may not only be getting the gist of Quan’s major role in Loki Season 2, but also the potential of connecting She-Hulk: Attorney At Law with the series.

While this is mere speculation for now, we’ll be sure to string you along once Marvel Studios confirms this along with the official synopsis / release date for Loki Season 2.

Marvel Studios’ Loki Season 2 is reportedly releasing this Fall 2023 on Disney+. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
