Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is bound to be one of the biggest upcoming MCU films as it is expected to venture into the multiverse (as the title suggested) and there are rumors that several characters in the MCU might be making a surprise appearance given the nature of the film. Now, it looks like there are characters from a certain MCU series that might also show up in Doctor Strange's multiversal journey.

Murphy's Multiverse has reported that Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, and Sophia Di Martino will seemingly reprise their respective Loki roles in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. They discovered it thanks to IMDB which has the stunt performers of Hiddleston, Wilson, and Di Martino credited as part of the film.

There is a chance that the listing of the stunt performers in the film's IMDB page is accurate since they are very reliable when it comes to film and TV show information so it is likely to be true. However, there have been instances that an actor or crew will be listed on a film's IMDB page before the release, but it turns out that it's not true at all. We still have to take this with a grain of salt, especially since none of the people involved in the film has also confirmed their involvement.

Given that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to explore the multiverse, it is very likely that the Loki characters might show up in the film as the series also ventures into the multiverse and it wouldn't be surprising if Doctor Strange will cross paths with them. After all, when it comes to the concept of the multiverse, anything is possible.

We also know that the film is currently undergoing significant reshoots and additional photography. Benedict Cumberbatch recently opened up about the reason why they're doing reshoots in which one of them is all because they are filming additional scenes that they weren't able to do before due to the COVID-19 limitations. Perhaps the inclusion of the Loki characters is part of that. We shall wait and see.
