After Episode 3 has taken us to a whole different turn, a new featurette was released by Marvel, and this time, it focuses on Sylvie with the actress playing the part Sophie Di Martino discussing how she embodies the character and brings her to life. But more than that, it teases major revelations about her and her origin story as we see a young Sylvie in the short clip.
The featurette starts with Sophie Di Martino telling how important it is to get a hold of who Loki is with the help of Tom Hiddleston as she is another version of him in an alternate reality. We also see various clips from previous episodes in their journey to Lamentis and other than that, there are new clips which suggest that they would be able to escape, but not in a good way as Sylvie seems to be taken by the Time Variance Authority.
After that snippet, based on the clothes the child is wearing, a young Sylvie went through the TVA portal and this suggests that she became a variant at such a tender age. This could mean that what she had been planning all along dates back from when she was taken and how she escaped may be featured in the next episodes. It is also possible that we'll be seeing the reason why she became a variant in the first place.
Their tag team isn't done just yet as by the end of the featurette, Loki and Sylvie are together talking about how chaos allows the universe to break free. Tom Hiddleston closes the short clip saying, "expect the unexpected."
