In this new trailer, the show’s voice cast members are given time to shine as it features several lines from the stacked cast.

For instance, the “One Room Hero” aka Max is voiced by Yuichi Nakamura, a popular voice actor whom many fans know as Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen, Gray Fullbuster in Fairy Tail, and Bruno Bucciarati in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

Joining him are other cast members, including Naomi Oozora (Hana Uzaki in Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) as Maou and Yoko Hikasa (Rias Gremory in High School DxD) as Zenia.

Aside from the scenes that show off the cast’s voices for their characters, the new trailer also previews the ending theme Mirai=Teleport by Nenne. This is the first anime song that Nenne sings.

As for the opening, the show’s theme is One Room Adventure by MADKID, the group behind the songs in The Rising of the Shield Hero anime.

This show will join the stacked Summer 2023 season which also features heavy hitters like Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 and Mushoku Tensei Season 2.

Though Level 1 Demon Lord should still be an intriguing show because of its story.

The anime’s plot is reminiscent of The Devil Is a Part-Timer! as it follows the adventures of the former Demon Lord who becomes a child as he discovers that the hero who defeated him now lives in a dirty one-room apartment.

Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero will be released in Japan on July 3 on select networks, including AT-X and Tokyo MX. Meanwhile, the show will premiere on July 6 on other networks.

For now, there’s no word yet on which platform the series will be streamed on outside Japan. An announcement will likely be made closer to its release.
