The new K-drama, featuring Lee Joon Gi and Kim Ji Eun, tells the story of a young prosecutor named Kim Hee Woo who gets killed while trying to beat a powerful corrupt politician with a crime cartel. He then gets a new life to seek justice.
While the actor is still making the viewers fall in love with him, Lee Joon Gi almost never starred in the drama to play the role.

Lee Joon Gi recently graced the pages of Singles magazine alongside Kim Ji Eun and sat for an interview with them. The actor took his time to share details about Again My Life and his character, and how he never starred in the series.
According to Lee Joon Gi, he was hesitant to accept the role when he first received the offer since he was worried he might give the same vibes as he did in his previous roles.
His manager then became his savior and changed his mind.

“As we diligently ponder together, we end up finding new directions. I think I’m able to keep moving forward bit by bit thanks to my fellow actors, the director, and the staff, all of whom have been pondering [these questions] together with me,” he said.
Lee Joon Gi added that if his fans and viewers feel like they are happier after watching his drama, then his choice to be part of the series would be an achievement for him.
Lee Joon Gi Tests Positive For COVID-19
The actor is yet to offer everything he has in the drama, but he needed to take a break for now after testing positive for COVID-19.
His agency, Namoo Actors, confirmed on April 18 that he was diagnosed with COVID-19 after feeling ill. Lee Joon Gi used a self-test kit before undergoing a rapid antigen test.
After the positive result came back, he opted to take a break and care for himself as he still experiences a mild sore throat.
In the end, Namoo Actors pledged to prioritize Lee Joon Gi’s health and safety.
