BTS will give ARMYs a gift after their successful Las Vegas tour.

Earlier this month, BTS performed during their Permission to Dance on Stage – Las Vegas. Big Hit Music estimated that 624,000 fans joined them during the sold-out concerts. On top of that figure, over 22,000 people reportedly gathered at the MGM Grand Garden Arena where the shows were broadcast live.

After the event, Big Hit Music confirmed that they would have a comeback on June 10. Once the K-pop supergroup drops their album, they will – once again – break a new record.

BTS Already Reserved New Record Before 2022 Comeback

K-pop groups usually wait for years before their comeback. Unfortunately, some of them even lose their members in the process.

BTS, meanwhile, will become the first idol group in K-pop history to drop a new album every year without losing a member. An ARMY recently did a research and found out that, over the past 10 years, BTS managed to make a new album and have all the members participate in them.

“There were groups that released albums but would have one member not participate in the album because of individual activities. Also, there are fewer cases like this these days because members change a lot,” the fan said.

It remains unknown whether it has an equivalent official award. But it would be a great addition after the group broke a Guinness World Record after their recent win at the 2022 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

BTS Is Currently The Most Powerful K-pop Group

Although a lot of K-pop groups have been marking their debuts in the past years, BTS is the only group that can make the largest economic effect in South Korea.

The Korea Culture and Tourism Institute recently shared an analysis showing that BTS could contribute $9.9 million to South Korea’ economy if they perform 10 times a year.

“If BTS normally holds a concert in Korea during the post-coronavirus period, the economic ripple effect will reach 677.6 billion KRW (550 million USD) to 1.22 trillion KRW (989 million USD) for one performance,” the analysis explained.

The institute based its data to BTS’ concert in Los Angeles in 2021 and the Seoul concert in March.

With that, it is safe to say that BTS will continue to be the number 1 group worldwide.
