Is Kim Chaewon Dating?
The Japanese news outlet supported its claims by sharing an alleged photo of a male internet user who said he took a picture with his girlfriend, Kim Chaewon.
Fans immediately examined the photo and found out that it was photoshopped. The original photo of Kim Chaewon was with her co-member, Sakura. With that, users immediately debunked the claims.
They also contacted the alleged male internet user and asked about the photo. In response to the query, he dismissed the dating report and said he is only an ordinary fan.

After the issue emerged, fans expressed their dismay and disappointment as they urged everyone to stop spreading rumors. Among the comments read:
"I think the guy in the photo is a victim too, now everyone knows his social media account and knows he creates these kinds of photos.”
I didn't know that photo was photoshopped, I guess LE SSERAFIM is going to grow bigger, getting involved in such rumors! I support you LE SSERAFIM.”
"Well, a lot of people probably thought the photo was real if this article wasn't released.”
Source Music Denies Dating Rumors
Following the emergence of the claims, Kim Chaewon and LE SSERAFIM’s agency, Source Music, responded to the claims through a statement.
A representative for the agency said, per Herald Pop, “Kim Chaewon’s dating rumors are not true.”
Kim Chaewon debuted as a member of LE SSERAFIM in 2022, years after joining Produce 48. She was initially a member of the project girl group, Iz*One, in 2018 until its disbandment.
