The long wait is finally ending soon as Laid-Back Camp Season 3 is confirmed to be released in Spring 2024. Along with the show’s release update, the new season also got an official visual featuring one of the main characters.
Laid-Back Camp’s third season was announced in October 2022. Since then, there have not been any big updates about its release.
A few weeks ago though, the third season’s trailer was finally released. Now, its release date has finally been confirmed, and it will be released just slightly later than most fans expected.
Laid-Back Camp Set to Return After Three Years
Laid-Back Camp (or Yuru Camp as it’s known in Japan) is a slice-of-life iyashikei manga that became popular among anime fans around the world thanks to the anime adaptation by C-Station.
The first season aired from January to March 2018. Fans had to wait a while before the new season though, with its broadcast running between January and April 2021.
Given the three-year gap between seasons, fans were expecting the third season to be released in January 2024. The show will indeed air next year, but its premiere is a bit later than many fans hoped.
Still, the Spring 24 premiere isn’t so bad. After all, fans were treated to the Laid-Back Camp movie which was only released last year.
Following its Japanese theatrical run, the movie was released on Crunchyroll in November 2022.
Interestingly, the movie is quite different from the anime series. Aside from featuring an original story instead of following the manga, the movie is set years after the main series, with the cast as adults.

Laid-Back Camp Season 3 Reveals Spring 2024 Release Date
The anime’s third season brings back the cast as their younger selves as it’s a direct follow-up to the second season.
Laid-Back Camp’s voice cast members are confirmed to return in this new season. What’s not returning is C-Station as it has been revealed previously that the third season will be animated by studio Eight Bit.
This studio is best known for shows like SHY, Blue Lock, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
Eight Bit also animated Encouragement of Climb, a slice-of-life series about mountaineering that’s rather reminiscent of Laid-Back Camp.
Season 3 of Laid-Back Camp will be released in April 2024. Based on the previous season, it’s likely that the third season will have around 12-13 episodes.
For now, there’s no word yet on which platform it will be streamed on outside of Japan.
