In what is great news for the anime industry, Kyoto Animation has recovered as the studio has new anime lined up, as well as an exciting event for fans. This event is the KyoAni Music Festival 2023, and it’s confirmed to get a livestream for fans outside of Japan.
Details about KyoAni’s upcoming music festival were shared on the event’s official website and X (formerly Twitter) account. There, info about the event’s guest lineup is listed along with merch details.
On top of these, it was also confirmed that tickets for the international livestream are available now.
What to Expect at the KyoAni Music Festival 2023
Officially titled the 6th Kyoto Animation Thanks Event KyoAni Music Festival, this event will feature a two-day celebration of Kyoto Animation's iconic works.
As its name implies, this upcoming music festival will feature a range of artists who have performed songs for various KyoAni anime.
These include the likes of Mai Aizawa, Ayana, STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION, and Lia. The event will even feature Aya Hirano, the iconic voice actress of Haruhi Suzumiya.
These guests will perform songs from KyoAni’s popular shows like Clannad, Sound! Euphonium, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, Nichijou, and Violet Evergarden, among others.
To celebrate the upcoming event, KyoAni also shared a special visual featuring their beloved characters. The visual shows the characters in colorful plaid outfits.
The visual also adorns the various exclusive merch made available for pre-order previously. These include tapestries, towels, pins, acrylic stands, and more.

KyoAni Music Festival 2023: Where to Watch Outside of Japan
It seemed at first that only fans in Japan would be able to enjoy the upcoming music festival.
Thankfully, KyoAni revealed that the event will get a livestream that will be available in various countries around the world.
The stream won’t be available worldwide, though it will at least be available in major markets like the US, Canada, and the UK.

Tickets for the KyoAni Music Festival 2023 livestream are available now on the event’s official website. The virtual ticket is priced at JPY 5,500 (around USD 37), and they come with archive access.
As for the event itself, the music festival will happen from November 11 to 12, 2023, at the ROHM Theatre in Kyoto, Japan.
