Kpop solo artist BIBI is confirmed to appear in the Netflix series Sweet Home 2, signalling her acting debut.

After debuting as a soloist in 2019 with the single "Soap," BIBI has made a name for herself with her unique tone and irresistible vocal colors.

She was the runner-up in the SBS audition program The Fan and has since become famous by appearing on several entertainment programs. She has also become a representative entertainer of her generation, with her wit and spontaneous talk, while recently appearing in the TVing program Witch Hunt 2022.

BIBI Debuts As An Actress In Sweet Home Season 2

On September 5, Netflix issued a statement confirming that "BIBI will be featured in 'Sweet Home 2,'" among other things. There is currently no information on the role she will play or the amount of screen time she will receive.

But knowing that this will be the Kpop soloist's first time appearing in a dramatic role is a piece of huge news for the industry. Huge attention is also focused on what role BIBI will portray and how she will flawlessly act along the series' interesting storyline.

What is the plot and storyline of Sweet Home?

The webtoon by Kim Carnby and Hwang Young-cha with the same name is the inspiration for the animated series Sweet Home, which premiered on Netflix in December 2020.

Here is a plot summary provided by Netflix for the Kdrama Sweet Home for those unaware of the series: "As mankind transforms into ferocious monsters, one disturbed youngster and his neighbors strive to survive and hang onto their humanity," the synopsis reads.

Sweet Home was the first South Korean television show to ever make it into the Top 10 list on a streaming service in the United States, and it reached the number three spot in 2020. It later took the number one spot in eight of the world's areas and ranked among the top 10 in 42 regions worldwide.

Sweet Home Season 2 & 3 Release Date

For those of you who are wondering when Netflix will release seasons 2 and 3 of the popular Korean series Sweet Home, there is still no specific news confirming a release date.

Since Netflix has also only recently confirmed the news that Sweet Home will be renewed for two additional seasons, an official release date for Season 2 is not likely to be announced anytime soon. The Kdrama is also not included in the latest list of movies and TV shows coming in September 2022, which means that the new season will not be released until next year or later.
