From the manga series of Tomohito Oda, Komi Can’t Communicate Season 2 recently came to its end and while there is no confirmation yet whether there would be a third run for the show, the finale left an open door which means that the story may still continue.
Did Komi and Tadano end up with each other or will that be for another season?

Komi Can't Communicate Season 2 Ending Explained: Did Komi and Tadano End Up Together?
In Komi Can’t Communicate Season 2 Episode 12, It’s Just White Day/ It Has Just Been One Year, Tadano tries to figure out what to give to Komi for the upcoming White Day and he approaches Hitomi for some suggestions.
Hitomi thinks that the gift Tadano is looking for is for a guy because she thought Tadano only received one chocolate and it was from Katai. When Hitomi asks if the gift is for someone Tadano likes, he answers yes.
Hitomi and Tadano go to the department store to buy a gift and later, Tadano goes to Komi’s house where he encounters Komi’s parents.
As he is waiting for Komi, Tadano gets cornered by Masayoshi, Komi’s father, but as Komi arrives, she tells her father to leave the room. There, Tadano gives Komi his gift and she opens it in front of him. It’s a hand cream.

At school, Komi and her classmates play the eraser game where everyone would have to put their erasers on the desk and each player’s goal is to bump the erasers of others off the desk until only one remains.
Najimi and Komi are the finalists but Najimi gets injured, thus, Komi wins the game.
After class, Komi and Tadano look back on their memories of the school year but just as they are reminiscing, Najimi forgets something and returns to the room, interrupting Komi and Tadano’s moment.
As second-year students on their first day, Komi wishes that things will get along well again for the new school year.
Unfortunately, there is still no closure whether Komi and Tadano end up with each other as both of them are still adamant to tell the truth that they like each other.
While it is apparent that they have feelings for each other, currently, they are still friends and just friends, possibly the best of friends.

Tadano almost spilt the tea but he ran away from embarrassment, leaving Komi confused as to what she would feel but at least, she now has a hint that Tadano may like her as well.
The ending of Komi Can’t Communicate Season 2 leaves the door open for another school year where the story can unravel what happens in their sophomore year and continue with how Tadano and Komi would end up telling the truth to each other.
To date, there is still no confirmation whether Komi Can't Communicate Season 3 will happen.
