Kokdu: Season of Deity is an ongoing K-drama series that explores the life of a grim reaper named Kokdu, who goes to the world every 99 years to punish humans. He then meets Han Gye Jeol, who plays a huge role in his life.

Kokdu: Season of Deity Episode 4 Recap
Kokdu: Season of Deity episode 4 starts with Kokdu singing the song Han Gye Jeol’s mother used to sing to her when she was a kid. The moment surprises her, making her remember the time her mother got hit by a car.
It turns out Kokdu met her mother when she died, and the matriarch made a wish in exchange for the song she sang for him. The encounter ultimately became the reason why Kokdu follows Han Gye Jeol’s words and grants her wishes.
Although he explains how he knows both her and her mother, Han Gye Jeol still cannot understand the things he says.
While driving, Kokdu hears voices to kill someone again. Han Gye Jeol thinks she hit someone, but she realizes that he is missing again. They officially start getting to know each other more before dating. They also help each other in building her clinic.
Han Gye Jeol’s brother, Han Chul, and the investigators start looking into the murder cases and other incidents happening in the area.

While reporting the accident at the Yeongpo Police Station, she meets Jung Yi Deun again who claims to be the one she hit. Kokdu shows signs of jealousy and tells Han Gye Jeol not to get herself involved with him.
Meanwhile, Chairman Kim Pil Soo spearheads a press conference for Pilseong Bio’s Phase 3 Clinical Trial and their new drug. The man who reported his corruption, Park Choo Seong, was the same man Han Gye Jeol hit. Jung Yi Deun also helps him hide.
As he only listens to Han Gye Jeol, Kokdu manages to stop the voices he hears whenever the clock strikes 9:10.
Something bad happens to Han Gye Jeol. But with her words, Kokdu finds her and saves her. The incident also helps him realize that she is indeed Seol Hee.
