I think it's safe to assume that everyone in the Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom is aware of the rumors surrounding Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's appearances in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Of course, Marvel and Sony have immediately debunked reports linking both actors to the project but that didn't stop webheads from being convinced that their favorite Spidey actors are indeed set to make their respective comebacks.

Aside from Tobey and Andrew, their respective love interests Kirsten Dunst (Mary Jane Watson) and Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy) have also been included in the list of rumored cast members which only made the mill spin even harder. When you think about it, MJ and Gwen making cameo appearances in the film makes perfect sense assuming that the two actors are part of the project. However, the Cruella actress has previously denied any involvement in Spider-Man 3.

As for Dunst, while she has neither confirmed nor denied the rumors surrounding MJ's comeback, the actress was spotted at Sunset Gower Studios in Los Angeles where No Way Home is reportedly filming additional scenes. Interestingly, she was spotted with fellow actress Deborah Ann Woll who starred in Netflix's Daredevil series as Charlie Cox's love interest.

It's worth noting that Matt Murdock is also rumored to be making his official MCU debut in Spider-Man: No Way Home and it makes the Deborah sighting all the more intriguing. As it stands, it's still a little hard to jump to conclusions but the two actresses being spotted at the same location where the MCU project is currently filming can't be coincidental and it sure raises so many questions.

Spider-Man: No Way Home hits cinemas on December 17, 2021.
