Prince Harry exerted an effort to repair his and Meghan Markle’s strained relationship with his dad, King Charles III. However, it was his suggestion on how they should go mend fences that surprised the monarch and his wife, Queen Consort Camilla.
Prince Harry Wanted To Hire A Mediator To Help Resolve His Issues With King Charles III
In Katie Nicholl’s new book The New Royals: Queen Elizabeth’s Legacy and the Future of the Crown, she claimed that an unnamed member of the royal family confirmed that Prince Harry met up with King Charles III in the spring to try and resolve their issues.
The Duke of Sussex reportedly suggested that they should bring in a mediator, and the comment left his dad bemused and Queen Consort Camilla spluttering into her tea. After all, the royal couple was both convinced that the issues could be resolved within the family.
Camilla also reportedly thought that Prince Harry’s idea was ridiculous, that’s why they never tapped a mediator to help them out with their issues.

Also, in the book, Nicholl claimed that Prince William and Kate Middleton felt relieved when they found out that Prince Harry and Markle were stepping down from their royal duties, according to 7news.com.au.
Before the decision was made, the royal couples were already disagreeing and butting heads behind closed doors. However, royal fans are still confident that a resolution will eventually take place, and it might happen before the year ends.
After all, Prince William just released a statement announcing his decision to skip the Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit in New York on Sept. 21. Of course, the public knows that he and Middleton wouldn’t be able to attend the summit because of the recent death of the queen.

But the Prince of Wales also revealed his plans to go to Boston in December.
According to reports, Boston is just five hours away from California. So, there’s hope for Prince William and Middleton to reunite with Prince Harry and Markle while they are there.
Prior to the queen’s death, the possibility of the brothers reuniting in the United States was shut down by royal experts.
While speaking with The Sun, royal expert Angela Levin said that Prince William didn’t have any plans to talk to or see Prince Harry until his memoir comes out. Since the dad of three was supposed to be in New York on Wednesday, he would’ve landed months before his brother’s memoir is released.
“I think it’s likely that Catherine and William will try to avoid any contact with Harry and Meghan until they know the contents of Harry’s memoirs and their Netflix documentary. They have lost their chance of being trusted as the chance they will use any conversation. It’s their own fault for vastly exaggerating and being rude,” Levin said.
Prince Harry also hit the pause button on his memoir. It was supposed to be released sometime in November, but there are whispers that it might not be available until early next year.
