Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Were Baffled By The Mix-Up Regarding Queen’s Pre-Funeral Reception
But according to The Telegraph, there were sudden changes to the original plans. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were uninvited from the gathering and were told that only senior working royals are expected to be there.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Invited To Royal Family’s Dinner At Buckingham Palace
Even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex won’t attend the queen’s pre-funeral reception, they have still been spending so much with the royal family in the past couple of days. In fact, CNN just confirmed that the Sussexes had dinner with the royals in Buckingham Palace.
King Charles III has also been extending olive branches to Prince Harry and Markle ever since the queen’s death. In his speech, he gave the couple a shout-out and said that he is sending them his love all the way to the United States.
King Charles Requested For Prince Harry And Prince Andrew To Wear Their Military Uniforms During Vigils
The monarch also requested for his youngest son to be allowed to wear his military uniform in the upcoming vigils for Her Majesty. Prince Harry previously walked behind his grandmother’s coffin while wearing a morning suit.
A spokesperson for Prince Harry also released a statement confirming that he will be wearing his mourning suit and said that he wants the focus to be on his grandmother and not on what he wears.
But according to Page Six, there was a sudden change in the dress code for Prince Harry and his uncle Prince Andrew. Even though the two no longer work for the royal family, the monarch wants them to wear their military uniforms since they served for years.
“At the king’s request, they will both be in uniform,” a spokesperson confirmed ahead of two vigils for the queen.
Another source stressed that Prince Harry was not the one who requested for changes to be made in his attire.
“He was simply prepared to wear whatever his grandmother made plans for. He’s focused on honoring her and that’s it. If they’d like him in uniform, I have no reason to think that he won’t oblige,” the source said.
On Friday, the Duke of York was photographed standing in front of the queen’s coffin in his military uniform.
