K-drama fans, rejoice! Netflix has confirmed the production of the reunion project of top Korean stars Kim Woo-bin and Suzy, drumming up the anticipation with photos from the first script reading.
All the Love You Wish For (working title) is a romantic comedy series about a wish-granting genie named Jinn (Kim), awakened from a thousand years of slumber by Ka-young (Suzy).
The two last appeared in a series together in 2016 as star-crossed lovers in Uncontrollably Fond. This was Kim’s first lead TV actor role; soon after, he went on a hiatus to seek cancer treatment. He successfully returned in 2022 with projects Our Blues and Black Knight.
All-rounder Bae Suzy was first introduced to audiences as a girl group member of Miss A. She cements her status as a pillar of the Korean wave by headlining widely loved TV shows, including While You Were Sleeping, Vagabond, Start-Up, Anna, and Doona! Her latest project, the science fiction drama movie Wonderland, will also be released on Netflix next month.
Kim and Bae will be joined by Ahn Eun-jin, who will play the mysterious Mi-joo in the show. Known for her supporting roles in Hospital Playlist seasons 1 and 2 and The Good Bad Mother, she has made waves in her first lead role in My Dearest, earning her a Best Actress nomination at the Baeksang Art Awards.

Other cast members include Noh Steve Sang-hyun as Jinn's brother and rival, Ko Kyu-phil as Jinn’s assistant, and Lee Zoo-young as Ka-young’s friend.
Aside from the stellar cast, viewers also look forward to the partnership between renowned screenwriter Kim Eun-sook and box office director Lee Byeong-heon. Kim’s body of work includes the highly successful dramas The Glory, The King: Eternal Monarch, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, Descendants of the Sun, and Secret Garden, while Lee helmed Extreme Job, the highest-grossing South Korean movie in history, and this year’s breakthrough web series Chicken Nugget.
