The first part of My Dearest aired earlier this year with a stellar cast line-up. Now that the second part is here, avid viewers are hoping the original My Dearest cast will return for Part 2. So who stars in My Dearest Part 2?
Here's the list:
Namkoong Min as Lee Jang-hyun
Namkoong Min stars as the lead, Lee Jang-hyun. He is described as an enigmatic nobleman who never planned to get married.
The moment he meets Yoo Gil-chae (played by Ahn Eun-jin), things change for Jang-hyun. Unfortunately, the two fall in love with each other at the wrong time.
And as we saw in the first part, the two get separated and will have to do their best to reunite.
Namkoong Min has starred in plenty of TV shows. His notable projects include A Dirty Carnival, Remember: War of the Son, Beautiful Gong Shim, Good Manager, and One Dollar Lawyer.
His performance in Hot Stove League landed him the Grand Prize at the 2020 SBS Drama Awards. In the succeeding year, he also won the Grand Prize at the 2021 MBC Drama Awards for his role in The Veil.
Ahn Eun-jin as Yoo Gil-chae
Yoo Gil-chae is the daughter of a noble family who falls in love with Jang-hyun. Her character has been previously married.
As an actress, Eun-jin has several films under her belt. She starred in Hospital Playlist, Hell is Other People, and The One and Only. But if there's one role that earned her international recognition, it would be The Good Bad Mother.

Is Ahn Eun-jin Returning in My Dearest Part 2?
When My Dearest Part 1 ended, it was hinted that Gil-chae proceeded with her engagement with Officer Gu Won-moo (played by Ji Seung-hyun).
This disappointed a lot of viewers since they were expecting Gil-chae to end up with Jang-hyuk. But the good news is that the finale episode did not show her getting married to her fiance.
Additionally, the finale episode ended with Jang-hyuk meeting the slave hunter who was played by Lee Chung-ah. Since her role is expected to take a bigger responsibility in the second part, many can't help but wonder if she will be replacing Eun-jin in the lead role.
Although there was no confirmation yet, Namgoong Min posted a cryptic post on Instagram as he thanked viewers for their support.
He also penned a heartbreaking message to his co-star as he wrote the letter with their characters in mind.
He wrote: "You hated me to death the day you left me for eternity. No matter how much I look at it, I don't feel like hating it."
But he also teased awaiting fans with Eun-jin's return in the second part:
"Thank you all for your love, care, and concern. Haha I will return it with a beautiful love story between Jang Hyun and Gil Chae."
So yes, we can expect Eun-jin to be back on the show.
